Great idea, I have seen it used on other boards, it cuts down on the "New" member attack posts....however...I do feel for those that have to give up their time to proof read the posts..

Thanks for the time and effort put into this site.

I for one do not think that, I think it is a great way to stop people from creating "New 2nd, 3rd or 5th" Id's and start posting crap.

Update. It is actually working very well. I have yet to "not approve" a post. Keep up the good work everyone!

Your first three posts are moderated. So if you make a post and it doesn't show up it is because a moderator has to approve it first. Once you have made three posts then you are like everyone else and can make posts without moderator approval.

It is working great so far. I think only two posts were not approved. It has cut way down on people who make an account and then immediately attack someone or an association. It is a little more work fro the mods, but they can handle it. :)

Testing how long it takes for a post to make it.

So far I am still waiting for my other posts to get on line, and now one thread is locked before it was posted.

Please remember that a moderator has to read your post first and approve it. Since the Moderators do not sit in front of their respective computers 24 hours a day, you may have to wait for up to a day for your post to be approved. Most of the time it is within a few hours, so be patient and as long as it is appropriate it will be approved.
