Completely agree. number 5 from ridge is an excellent scrambling QB, but not much of a pocket passer. Kelownas QB is the exact opposite, does really well with the 3 and 5 step drop and getting the ball out quick.
thabks for this. but dont forget there is 1 more week. anything can happen
actually, there is only one possible scenario, and he mentioned it. Assuming Ridge beats kelowna, then Langley would finish ahead of kelowna and would get homefield, but still end up playing kelowna in langley.
Yeah I know rocky, my point was to show that there arent any rules or differences between the two leagues that cant be overcome other then the people running the show. They believe that a merger wouldnt be beneficial and until people show they want it, it will never happen. It took me all of about 2...
Why not just raise the limit. Then you cant have an entire team of 18 year olds, but ,more then likely wont have to cut any of them unless you stack your team with them.
Past responses as to why not: VMFL plays on Sunday / VCFL plays on Saturday. 18 year old rule. What rule book would we play under? Those really arent that tough. I dont believe that is why there has been no merger. Which day? find out why VMFL plays sunday and VCFL plays friday. Honestly, midget sh...
North Langley midget has been a big surprise too. Played some tough games, beat ridge last week and then got close to beating mission today. Most of the north langley teams are much better then they have been in the past and thats good to see.
Sorry to impose my mathamatical wizardry on you here but the senerio you desrbied above would be 66 to 72 seconds. Again where does 42 seconds come from? Preventitive officiating done but math class starts!! :P refer to scenario below I will try this one. .42 snap ball and take a knee 1st down .41 ...
only problem with that is, is that the players cant see a 20 second clock to know when to snap it, so if they snap it too early, then they might not burn the whole clock, snap it to late, and boom delay of game.
With the point made about vancouver, you have to remember how many highschools there are in vancouver and the surrounding area. Abbotsford is another example of highschool programs that kill community programs. Also, while yes vancouver does have a much higher population, you have to remember that i...
There is nothing wrong with celebrating like that. When you beat the defending provincial champs on their home field, thats something worth cheering for. Seems to me someone is just a little upset that ND lost thats all.
I dont see what the big deal is. My first 2 years of football I was on the recieving end of 50-0 or more beatings. My first year we only scored 1 TD all year, and it was the last game of the season on a specially designed bootleg to get a busload of blockers infront of the QB. I kept playing. A lot ...
ref-23, Im not trying to attack refs as I know that there is tons of this that have to be done and reffing isnt easy. The only thing about you saying that the players actions dictate the flags is that there can be inconsistancies from game to game. Obviously somethings are consistent week in and wee...
Body language would dictate that one. If the player was focussed in on it and not too far away, I would probably not flag. If he drops his shoulders, arms at his side, hmmmmm, I would really have to evaluate they play as it progressed. Its one of those "was that necessary or not?" Speakin...
