SportsFunder Football Fan Award

Football fans distinguish themselves not only through their devotion, admiration and support of the sport, but also through their passion and commitment to the game. The SportsFunder Football Fan Award is designed to reward all levels of fans who exemplify these values. 

On behalf of SportsFunder Lottery Games, Football BC will award 60 winners a pair of tickets to every BC Lions home football game to individuals who are deserving of this award.

On August 25th Prince George ran its second 8 team scrimmage. Teams from Dawson Creek South Peace, Fort St. John North Peace SS, Vanderhoof, NVSSand 5 teams from Prince George, College Heights, Duchess Park, Prince George SS, DP Todd and KRSS rounded out the competition. . It was an all day affair with a round robin format. Not only was the football exciting it is riding a wave of popularity as noted in the article. Also of note is that three of the teams have young women playing on their midget age teams. They are Natalie Jones from South Peace SS who plays DB and DL, Lainy Stevenson from Prince George SS who plays cornerback and Tara Brommeland from Duchess Park who plays Line Backer. With over one hundred young athletes at this level we soon hope to see Prince George competing at the BCCFA Championships.

  • atom and pw game $25.00
  • jr. bantam - $30.00
  • bantam and midget - $35.00
The Lower Mainland Football Referees Association needs you and will provide training.
Next schedule training :   
The level one clinic will be Saturday June 16th at
Bear Creek Clubhouse in Surrey.
Start time is 9am and finishes about 4pm.
Lunch is provided as are manuals.
You need to bring, pen and paper, running shoes, we will do some work on the field.
